It is expected that Inventec Vietnam Factory will start construction in Hanoi South Supporting Industrial Park (Hanssip) after the second quarter of 2024, with an estimated investment capital of about 1,000 billion VND.
On April 1, the investor of Hanssip Industrial Park officially handed over the site to Inventec Group to start the construction process of Inventec Vietnam Factory.
In phase 1, this enterprise plans to invest about 1,000 billion VND in building workshops and factories to produce products such as communication equipment, computers, peripheral equipment for computers, and phones. smart devices, and smart wearable devices on an area of about 16 hectares. Total periodic production capacity is 32 million products/year.
In the next stages, the Group will establish a research and production development complex. It is expected that the factory will begin operation in the fourth quarter of 2024, expected to create jobs for about 15,000 - 20,000 workers. Expected annual revenue can reach 3 billion USD.
Previously, Inventec Group received an Investment Registration Certificate from the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Management Board and signed an official land lease contract in Hanssip with N&G Development Investment Joint Stock Company. The scale of phase 1 of this contract includes nearly 170,000 square meters of industrial land and a total estimated investment capital of about 200 million USD.
It is known that Hanssip Industrial Park has received direction from the Prime Minister and Hanoi People's Committee to develop into a specialized industrial park, focusing on supporting industries and supporting industries for high technology.
The project is implemented in Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi city with a scale of about 640 hectares, including about 500 hectares as an industrial park and about 140 hectares as a service urban area. The west side of the project borders old National Highway 1A; The East borders Phap Van - Cau Gie highway.
To date, the industrial park has attracted many diverse investment projects, including a chain of factories producing aircraft components and products applied in the fields of aerospace, aircraft, ships, and shinkansen ships. , automobiles, robotics, and many other fields. In particular, a group of businesses from Kobe - Japan chose this industrial park to invest. In addition, the Korean enterprise's project to produce and package semiconductor chip products has also participated in the development planning of this industrial park.
According to statistics, currently industrial parks in Hanoi have attracted 709 projects. Among them, there are 302 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with registered capital of over 6.4 billion USD; 407 domestic investment projects, registered capital of over 19,200 billion VND. Hanssip Industrial Park alone has so far had 3 projects granted Investment Registration Certificates (including 2 FDI projects, 1 domestic project).
